Here we are the second week of June.
So far things have been un poco loco.
*
I dropped Jason off at the airport on Saturday.
He is now in the Honduras enjoying
the humid rainy season.
He is sleeping in a tent on a cot,
but he is on a big base with
good facilities, so for the most part
he's comfortable.
He seems to be enjoying speaking Spanish with the locals,
and he's been able to watch the NBA playoffs,
so he's doing just fine:)
*
Lyla had another ear infection
and wasn't sleeping or eating very well,
but we've gotten that under control
and now she's sleeping better than ever.
*
Our Wii broke, so we had to send it in to get fixed.
Luckily we have the game cube as a back up,
so the boys still have something to do
in this rainy weather
*
Yesterday we went to school and ate lunch with Carter
and
today we went back for his big debut in
Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
He's on the left side of the stage
middle one on the stairs in the red shirt.
(I would like to thank Dallin for taking this lovely picture
for me while I was chasing Lyla)
had to switch sides on the stage he would
pull the other kids into their proper spots.
I don't know if he was suppose to do that or
if he was just creating windows
so his face could
be seen by all.
Dallin wanted to go in the back door.
(He likes to check on our flowers to see if there
are any new bloomers.)
Too my surprise some of them looked a little droopy.
I decided to pull the hose out
and give them some extra water.
I always do this very carefully
because one time I found a
BIG HAIRY BLACK SPIDER
living on my hose.
It was too fast for me to kill it
and I know its still living in there.
So I looked at the end of the hose and it looked fine,
I pulled it out very s...l...o...w...l...y
and looked what popped off onto the grass:
so that I could get a good looksie
After I stared at it a while it finally came to life
and started sliding and if you look close
you can see it left a gross slimy trail

After studying it for a long time,
Dallin watched me scoop it up with
his shovel and put it in the flower bed.
Pretty gross, but fascinating at the same time.
Now every time we go out to look at the flowers
we have something new to look for.

{Hope your week brings you
new and exciting things}

Dallin is so good at taking pictures! Carter is so cute and it looks like he did such a good job! We have those snails at my work and they are gross! I have to watch the sidewalks to make sure I don't step on them.
